Roosters, Day 2

Friday I received Berti's and my Roosters. Somehow, a typo worked it's way into the mailing list, a few people caught it. There was another one that I didn't catch, sorry Fred!



Berti's rooster is a eraser carving, hand-colored and dropped into a background in Photoshop. Nice!!

I carved this stamp from an internet coloring project on Web Holidays



My stamps are from a photograph I made at sunrise with a metal rooster sculpture in my front window.

The insert was glued to the inside of the hand/computer-made envelope.

Recently Carved Stamps

This is from the patch on Mr McFeely's jacket from the Mister Rogers show for the catalogs. One of these days, I'll finish the catalogs and get them mailed out.



I finished this one last night for AML Year of the Rooster swap that's going out the 9th.

This was my Yule stamp in 2003. It starts a Wicca in America series including the holidays of the pagan wheel of the year. I have Yule and Beltane so far.

Air Mail Carving

I got the itch this week and carved an airmailart stamp. That's my favorite plane, the Lockheed Super Constellation. We have one here at the Downtown Airport that flies around the country doing air shows kept up by a bunch of retired TWA mechanics, flight attendants and crewmembers.
